Skip Rest does not collect any personal data.
Skip Rest is a free workout timer for iPhone, made by Alex Neto in Porto, Portugal. There is no account, no login and no sign-up.
What the app stores
The workouts you create, the workouts you finish (with the date, duration and how it felt, if you choose to say) and your settings, such as light or dark mode. All of this is saved only on your iPhone. It is never sent to me or to anyone else.
What the app collects
Nothing. Skip Rest has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking, and it doesn't use any third-party services that collect data. It doesn't need an internet connection to work.
Backups
If you back up your iPhone with iCloud or a computer, the app's data may be included in that backup, as with any app. That backup is handled by Apple under your own Apple account and is not accessible to me.
Deleting your data
Delete a workout by swiping it left on the home screen. Delete the app and everything it stored is deleted with it.
Children
Skip Rest doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.
This website
skiprest.com doesn't use cookies or analytics. It's hosted by Vercel, which may keep standard server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
If you email me for support, I only use your email address and what you write to reply to you.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
